Group Therapy

FamilyWorks has programming available to support growth, social skill development, and adjustment for young children, preteens, and teens. At FamilyWorks, we have found group work to be an impactful vehicle for individual learning and growth. Group therapy allows individuals to gain valuable support and practical feedback from participants addressing similar concerns. Groups also allow individuals to test out new behaviors and techniques in a safe, non-judgemental, confidential setting. Positive relationships form quickly as group members wrestle with issues and brainstorm creative solves together.

FamilyWorks offers psychotherapeutic groups for children, teens, and adults on a variety of relevant topics. Additionally, we provide parents with psychoeducational one-day workshops. Masters-level, licensed FamilyWorks staff are available to provide psychotherapeutic groups on a variety of lifespan topics, including but not limited to:
